Last summer, I stayed with a British hst family. One day, I was really surprised when the sn f the family tld me that we wuld have tad-in-the-hle fr dinner. I wasn’t sure whether we were ging t eat a real tad in a hle. If s, hw terrible! I jined them at dinner time with butterflies in my stmach. T my astnishment, a dish f sausages cked in Yrkshire pudding(a pancake-like fd) was served n the table, and it tasted rather delicius. It turned ut that tad-in-the-hle is a typical dish fr a British dinner, and there’s n tad! What an amazing experience! I think it was fd cultural difference that caused the misunderstanding.
