I was desperate.
“Yu knw,” she said, gently rubbing my back, “if yu save up, yu culd buy this yurself.”

And s ur paying plan unflded. Mum bught the dress and put it safely in sme hiding place where I culdn’t find. Each week I eagerly cunted my grwing savings increased by extra wrk. Weeks later, I cunted and jumped fr jy. Oh, I made it! I finally had the exact amunt we’d agreed n. Having put n my dress, I flew t schl like a bird. Hwever, the unthinkable happened.
