He tld me that he had seen the film the day befre.
She said that she had never been t the Great Wall.
I had been at the bus stp fr 15 minutes when a bus finally came.
    I had meant t g n a trip with yu,but I was busy with wrk then.
I had intended t see yu,but I had t lk after my little daughter at that mment.
    1.用在“主语+had hardly/scarcely(n sner)+过去分词+when(than)从句”句型中,从句用一般过去时。
I had n sner reached hme than it began t rain.
Hardly had we left the huse when it began t rain.
    2.与by...,by the end f..., by the time...
By the end f that year, Henry had cllected mre than a thusand pstcards.
By the time they arrived,we had gt everything ready.
    3.用在“It was the+序数词+time+(that)...”或“It was the+形容词最高级+名词+(that)...”
It was the first time (that) I had been t Shanghai.
It was the mst inspiring perfrmance I had watched.
It was at least three mnths since I had left Beijing.

Hw many buildings had been destryed when the hurricane ended?
They had arrived at the statin by ten ’clck yesterday.
They arrived at the statin at ten ’clck yesterday.
She was very happy and her whle family were pleased with her,t.She had just wn first prize in the cmpsitin cmpetitin.
