设计说明 首先,通过一首歌曲和两个问题引入“英国”这个话题,导入新课。接着,学习本课的新单词,为学习课文做好铺垫。然后通过听录音连线、读课文填空、读课文连线、读课文找出重要的表达等活动学习课文,并将练习题穿插到课文教学中。本节课设计了多种活动,并利用歌曲烘托气氛,使学生带着愉快的心情去了解英国和澳大利亚的位置、首都、国旗、动物和标志性建筑等,从而开阔了眼界,增长了知识。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:same, as, tower 接触词汇: Canberra, Kangaroo, opera, 短语:Big Ben,Sydney Opera House,the same as, in the corner 2.能力目标 (1)理解并朗读短文; (2)能够谈论英国和澳大利亚。 3.情感目标 了解英国和澳大利亚,进一步增强了解世界的欲望。 重点难点 1. 重点:掌握本课节新学的词汇;理解和朗读课文。 2. 难点:用英语谈论英国和澳大利亚的基本情况。 教学准备 PPT课件,与本课节相关的音频,与生词相关的图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Review 1. Homework check. 2. Talk about Canada and the U.S., such as their flags and languages. Step 2 Leading in 1. Play a song and get the class to listen.
2. After listening to the song, ask the students to discuss the questions: Which country is the song about? What do you know about the country? 3. Get some students to give their answers. Step3 Presentation 1. Get the students to read the new words aloud by themselves. same /seɪm/adj. & pron.一样(的);相同(的) as/æz/conj.和……一样prep.作为 the same... (colour) as...和……一样……(颜色) Big Ben 大本钟Sydney Opera House 悉尼歌剧院 tower /ˈtaʊə/n. 塔/ˈɒpərə/ n.歌剧院,歌剧 kangaroo /ˌkæŋɡəˈruː/n.袋鼠 Canberra /ˈkænbərə/堪培拉(地名) 2.Get the students to repeat the words two or three times after the teacher. Make sure they can pronounce them correctly. 3. Get the students to remember the words. Step 4Listening and matching Get the class to listen to the lesson. Match the countries with their flags, national animals and buildings.
Step 5Reading and filling 1. Get the class to read the lesson and fill in the blanks. The U.K. is ________ of China. People speak ________ in the country. It has the same colours as the flag of the U.S. 它和美国的国旗颜色一样。 the same…as…意为“和……一样……”。the same as意为“和……一样”。 Li Fang has the same pen as mine.李芳的钢笔和我的一样。 This dress looks the same as that one.这条裙子看上去和那条一样。 [注意] 在句子中,same通常与the连用。the same as的反义词组为be different from,意为“和……不同”。 Your school is different from our school. 你们的学校和我们的学校不同。 2. The little flag in the corner is the U.K.’s flag. 角上的小国旗是英国的国旗。 (1) little作形容词,意为“小的”。 Look at the little girl over there.看那边的那个小女孩。 [拓展] little作形容词还可以表示“少的”,修饰不可数名词,表示否定意义。 There is little water in the bottle.瓶子里有极少的水。 (2) in the corner意为“在角落”,通常指在内部角落。 The table is in the corner of the room.桌子在房间的角落。 [拓展] at the corner意为“在拐角处”,通常指在拐角处的外面。 Wait for me at the corner of the street.在街道的拐角处等我。 3.
