Jeanette Garcia, a researcher at the University f Central Flrida in Orland, led the study.
“We've been hearing mre and mre abut hw sitting is the new smking. Previus evidence suggests a relatinship between health prblems and time spent sitting. As lng as yu reduce any type f sitting, then that's helpful in imprving health,” she said.

Eating treats r lack f sleep culd bth cause weight gain and increase risk factrs fr heart disease. These factrs culd make peple mre likely t die early, she added.
Arch Mainus, a researcher at the University f Flrida in Gainesville, said in an email that it wuld be a mistake fr peple with desk jbs t think there is n need t get mving during the wrk day. Take the stairs rather than the elevatr, r take a walk at lunch, Mainus advised. “Leisure time physical activity is definitely beneficial, but walking n sme mre steps in the wrkday shuld als be encuraged.”

A.Nt all frms f sitting are equally bad fr health.
    B. Reducing time spent sitting is an effective way t imprve health.
C.49% f thse wh spent mre than fur hurs watching TV daily were unhealthy.
D.It's the first study ever indicating the relatinship between health prblems and sitting.

    B. Peple may as well avid ding their jbs at a desk.
