学情分析:
- 继续学习现在进行时的一般疑问句及其回答。
- 五年级下学期是学生打基础的重要阶段。他们活泼好动,对新事物有着强烈的好奇心,探索知识的欲望很强烈,并且有着很强的表现欲。
- 本课书要求学生重点掌握:Is ...doing...? Yes, she / he is. No, she / he isn’t.,使学生自然运用所学,提高语言交际技能。
目标:
一、知识与技能
(一) 知识目标。能够准确地听、说、认读并能简单地运用以下单词和句子。
Words: moon, think, cousin, stand, only
Phrases: look at the moon, talk about, stand here, over there
Sentences: I don’t think so. Is he looking at…?
能够正确地听、说、认读第29课的会话,宁能够按角色进行简单的对话交流。
能结合生活实际进行真实表达与交流。
(二) 能力目标
1. To read, spell, write the new words.
2. To make up some phrases by using the new words.
3. Make up a new a dialogue.
(三)教学重难点
1. 掌握故事中的难点短语
eg:I don’t think so. Is he looking at…?及答语,并能灵活运用。
2. 运用本单元中的语言材料编演新对。

(一)情感态度目标
1. 引导学生们用于参加各种有意义的活动。
2. 培养学生们良好的学习习惯。
(二)学习策略目标
1. 能够主动与他人合作,共同完成小组学习任务。
2.注意观察生活中的与所学内容相关的事物,主动地将英语语言知识运用到日常生活中。
3.能够积极主动地调动各种感官参与课堂教学的各项活动。

教学过程:

Step 1.Greetings.
Step 2. Ask and answer. (1) T: Hello, boys and girls. Look at the pictures! Let’s guess : What am I doing? S: I am washing the clothes. (2)T: Look at other pictures. What is he / she doing? S: He’s playing the violin. Ask and answer in pairs. (3)T: Look at the two pictures. What are they doing? S:They’re working. Let’s begin our new class.
Step 3. New lesson. (1) T: Look at the picture. How many people are there in the picture? S: There are two. Go on to ask questions. T: What are they doing? S: They are talking about the picture. T: What is the man doing? S: He’s looking at the moon. T: Perhaps. / Maybe. T: What is the man doing? S: He’s looking at the sun. T: Perhaps. / Maybe. Teach: look at the moon / sun T: Is the woman looking at the moon? S: No, she isn’t. She’s looking at the …. T: I don’t think so. She’s looking at the moon. Teach: I don’t think so. Pay attention: I think she is looking at the sun. (2) Listen to the tape. T: Look! Who are they? S: They are Peter, Kate, Li Yan and her cousin. T: Do you know “cousin”? “cousin” means 表兄妹. What are they doing? Read in groups.
Step 4. Practice. (1) Read the dialogue in different ways. (2) Look at the pictures Make up a new dialogue in groups, four students.
