Yao Xinmin, 64, has been a security guard（保安）at Central South University of Forestry and Technology in Changsha, Hunan since 2007. He provides far more than a wake-up call.

At that time, Yao was unable to believe his eyes when he saw students studying so hard in the classrooms. They were preparing for the exam for postgraduate（研究生）studies. Soon, Yao noticed some students have difficulty getting up early. So he helped a student by telling him to send a photo after he got to the classroom. And it did work.

Slowly, more students began to ask for Yao’s help. Every time Yao received photos, he would send the students some words to encourage them. “I have to copy good sentences from books, TV programm and the Internet,” he said. “I want them to work hard.”

It’s common to see that robots work in shops or restaurants. Recently, Shenzhen Pengcheng Driving School began using robots to teach its learners to drive. Sounds cool, right?
