教学过程
Step 1 Warming- up and revisin
1. Review the knwledge n the present prgressive tense.
2. Check the hmewrk and let sme Ss read their sentences.
Step 2 Presentatin
1. T: Shw sme pictures n the big screen. Present sme new wrds and expressins.
(pl, shp, supermarket, …)
2. Give Ss sme time t remember the new wrds and expressins.
Step 3 Writing
1. T: Lk at the pictures belw. Where are they? What are they ding? Please lk at the pictures and fill in the blanks.
2. Ss wrk in grups. Discuss the pictures abut the places and the activities they are ding. Then fill in the blanks.
3. Let sme Ss read their answers t the class and check the answers.
Step 4 Pair wrk
1. Lk at the pictures and ask and answer questins. Give Ss a mdel:
A: Is the man swimming in the river?
B: N, he isn't. He's swimming in a pl.
2. Ss wrk with their partners. Ask and answer abut the pictures. (If necessary, give sme help t the Ss.)
3. Let sme pairs ask and answer abut the pictures.
Step 5 Listening

2. Ss listen and write the places.
3. Play the recrding again fr the Ss t check the answers.

2. Play recrding and stp the tape if necessary.
3. Play the whle recrding and have students write the wrds they hear in the chart.
4. Check the answers.
Step 6 Reading
Read the article and answer the tw questins.

② Des Zhu Hui like his hst family? What abut his hme in China?
Ss read the article quickly and find the answers t the tw questins. Check the answers with the class.
