Play the tape again and let students sing the sng tgether.
Shw the pictures f 1a in Sectin A and Sectin B and let students g ver the main ideas f Kangkang’s birthday party. Then chse sme students t retell it.
Pint ut ne questin: Hw did they celebrate Kangkang’s birthday? D yu want t knw it in detail? Let students read the passage by themselves.
Pint ut tw questins rally: Q1: What did Kangkang’s parents buy fr his friends? Q2: Did they have a gd time? Let students read the passage again.
Let students pint ut sme questins in the passage and give answers t the questins.
Pint ut the key wrds and phrases n the blackbard. Then let students read and recite them:
buy sth. fr sb./bring sth. fr sb., by hand, make a wish, have a gd time.
Let sme students make a title fr the passage and make a decisin fr the title.
Give students 2 mins t pint ut the key wrds in the passage and write them dwn n the blackbard.
1.Let students read the passage again and answer the questins in 1b by themselves.
Chse sme students t check the answers.
2.Play the game—Changing the verbs. Shw the wrds in the table in 2 and let students try t change the frms —sings—singing—sang. Let students d it ne by ne.
3.Give students 2 mins t fill in the blanks by themselves and chse sme students t check the answers.
