The Fisherman and the GenieThis is a classic stry frm The Arabian Nights (als knwn as One Thusand and One Nights), a cllectin f Middle Eastern flk tales. An ld fisherman catches a jar in his net. He pens the jar and releases an angry genie. The genie explains hw he has spent hundreds f years in the jar. Fr 100 years he vwed t help whever set him free. But then he grew angry, and vwed t kill whever freed him. Hwever, the fisherman tricks the genie by saying he desn't believe the genie culd fit in the jar. The genie ges back in the jar and is trapped again.
