M: Well, it uses a cmputer chip and special glasses. We start by putting the chip in a blind persn’s eyes. The chip is very, very small, f curse. And the glasses have a very small vide camera inside.
W: S, hw d the cmputer chip and glasses wrk tgether?
M: Well, a blind persn puts n the glasses and lks at smething, fr example, this pen. First the vide camera in the glasses takes a picture f the pen. Then the camera sends the picture t the cmputer chip in the persn’s eyes.
W: And then the persn can see the pen!
M: Exactly! This whle prcess happens very quickly, f curse.
W: Ww! Nw, using this tl, will a blind persn be able t see as well as a nrmal ne?
M: N, they wn’t have perfect visin, but they will be able t see many things. This tl is still new, but fr many f the peple in ur study, it’s changed their lives.

As yu can see, I was brn withut arms. Every time I fell dwn, I was scared that I wuldn’t be able t get up. My parents were t pr t affrd plastic arms fr me. But luckily, my dctr, Mr. Wilsn, shwed me hw t use my feet t d everything. Once I culd d a few things by myself, I didn’t feel scared f being alne anymre.
In high schl, everyne in my class made fun f me. Every mrning, I was afraid f what they wuld say. That was the hardest and darkest time in my life. But my teacher Mr. Smith made sure I stayed fcused n my schlwrk. He taught me t be strng and cnfident.
