      Sense grups, Pause& Liaisn
      Activity 1 Listen and read the cnversatin. Pay attentin t the sense grups and the pause between them.

      Discuss and summarize. Listen again and discuss where we shuld pause when we are reading a sentence.
      We usually pause when a sense grup ends and a new sense grup starts. In rder t make us understand the lng sentence better, we need t divide it int pieces accrding t its structure and the meanings f the wrds in it. When the wrds f ne piece has the same meaning and we can't separate them when we are reading it, it is called a sense grup. A sense grup can be a simple sentence, a clause, a phrase r a wrd. And after a sense grup, there shuld be a shrt pause.
