Versin 1(选择 “Histrical Figures f Great Achievements”) Dear Brwn,
I really like the idea f adding a new clumn t ur English newspaper. As fr the tw ptins, I’d like t chse “Histrical Figures f Great Achievements”.
Histrical figures wh made remarkable cntributins are like shining stars in human histry. Fr example, scientists such as Marie Curie, wh devted her life t radiactivity research and pineered cancer treatment, r Tu Yuyu, whse discvery f artemisinin saved millins f lives, shw us the pwer f perseverance and dedicatin. Learning abut their stries nt nly inspires us t pursue excellence but als helps us understand the rts f human prgress—hw curisity and curage shaped the wrld we live in tday. Mrever, explring their achievements cnnects the past and present, making histry “alive” and meaningful fr teenagers.
I believe this clumn will attract many students, as it enriches ur knwledge f histry while intrducing us t great minds wrth admiring.
Versin 2(选择 “Embracing the Develpment f New Technlgies”)
      Dear Brwn,
I really like the idea f adding a new clumn t ur English newspaper. When it cmes t the tw chices, I prefer “Embracing the Develpment f New Technlgies”.
In tday’s fast-changing wrld, new technlgies like artificial intelligence (AI), renewable energy and space explratin are reshaping ur lives deeply—frm hw we cmmunicate t hw we slve glbal prblems. A clumn fcusing n these tpics can keep us updated with the latest advancements. Fr instance, we can learn hw AI imprves medical diagnsis accuracy, hw slar panels and electric vehicles reduce carbn emissins, r hw private space cmpanies are pushing humanity’s bundaries in space travel. This nt nly sparks ur interest in science and innvatin but als helps us understand what the future might lk like. Besides, gaining knwledge abut new technlgies prepares us t adapt t a tech-driven sciety and even inspires sme f us t pursue careers in related fields.
I’m sure this clumn will be ppular amng students wh are curius abut the future and eager t explre the wnders f technlgy.
