Each exhibitin is the prduct f cperatin amng curatrs (馆长) and cnsists f up t 100 bjects gruped by artist, technique, style, perid, r subject.
The current exhibitin this year explres the ways artists embed (嵌入) their wrks with cmplex layers f meaning, whether relating stries, ideas, and feelings thrugh symbls, as in allegry, r suggesting them thrugh line, clr, and pattern, as in abstractin. featured is Matisse's 1947 series Jazz. Its clrful images bring t mind jyful memries f circuses, flktales, and travel, and als indicate the dark days in France during Wrld War II. Frm the same year, Luise Burgeis's He Disappeared int Cmplete Silence, described by the artist as "a drama f the self", similarly emplys allegry and abstractin t create a psychlgical self-prtrait. Als n view are wrks abut dancers, ranging in date frm the Renaissance t the twentieth century. In these wrks, emtins and stries unfld thrugh abstract mvements.
Imprtant waterclrs by J. M. W. Turner and Thmas Girtin, whse treatment f light, clr, and atmsphere anticipated aspects f twentieth-century abstractin, are shwn in recgnitin f the tw hundred and fiftieth anniversary f each artist's birth.

At a primary schl in Take prvince's Tram Kk District, the students in Grade One read alud frm their strybks, cpying the mvements f animals in the stry. With arms stretched wide like wings, they fly with excitement, their faces lit up with jy as they bring each sentence t life.
Thanks t an Early Grade Learning initiative, which is t tackle cnstant learning challenges amng early grade learners f primary educatin and was intrduced by the Ministry f Educatin f Cambdia (柬埔寨), with supprt frm UNICEF.
In Cambdia, despite significant prgress in educatin, mst students fail t meet the minimum prficiency (能力) levels in essential skills like reading and mathematics. Natinal learning assessments fr Grade Six in 2021 revealed 45 per cent f students were belw basic prficiency in Cambdian and 75 per cent were belw basic prficiency in mathematics.
Nw, instead f relying nly n traditinal textbks and learning, teachers use structured and engaging learning tls that make learning bth mre fun and mre effective. New student bks, writing practice bks, strybks, flashcards, and clurful classrm visuals help students master Cambdian letters and sunds in a step-by-step way.
Alngside the intrductin f the new teaching materials, all Grade One teachers, primary schl directrs, and schl mentrs (导师) frm Tram Kk District participated in training n EGR instructin methds, facilitatin skills and classrm management.
"There were times when I felt cnfused abut what and hw t teach, and I was never sure if my prnunciatin r explanatins were crrect," teacher Np Chankev says. "But nw, with systematic lessn plans and well-designed materials, my lessns have a much clearer flw, and the students are able t fllw alng much mre easily. After cmpleting the teacher training, I feel I have the ability t prepare and deliver my classes successfully."
"In the past, when external supprt ended, the prgrammes ften stpped as well," says Say Nak, a schl directr and master mentr verseeing several schls in Tram Kk District. "But nw, with nging training, mentring, materials, and teaching methds in place, supprt cntinues at the schl level."

Researchers at Carnegie Melln University's Rbtics Institute (RI) have develped a new sensing technlgy, called SnicBm. It's designed t help rbts lcate and identify crps using sund rather than cameras like befre. The system, still in early develpment, culd eventually assist agricultural rbts with tasks such as pruning (修剪树枝) r detecting ripe fruit hidden by leaves.
Lee, a Ph. D.student in rbtics, explained that the technlgy can determine the three-dimensinal (3-D) shape f bjects thrugh tuch, withut relying n a camera. This apprach slves a cmmn prblem in agricultural rbtics, where visual sensrs struggle t perate effectively in envirnments with heavy leaf cver that bscures bth the fruit and the paths rbt arms must take t reach it.
SnicBm differs frm existing sensrs by using cntact micrphnes t detect vibratins (振动) when an bject is tuched. Unlike camera-based tuch sensrs, which can be weak, r pressure sensrs, which can be expensive t install ver large areas, cntact micrphnes are mre durable and can be hused in prtective casings. The prttype (原型) cnsists f six cntact micrphnes munted inside a PVC pipe. When the pipe makes cntact with an bject such as a branch, the micrphnes recrd vibratins, and the system lcates the pint f cntact with a precisin between 0.43 and 2.2 centimeters. The PVC husing als prtects the micrphnes frm damage.
T train the system, the team cllected data frm 18,000 cntacts between the sensr and a wden rd. A machine learning mdel was then used t map the audi signals t specific cntact pints. While the current versin is designed t detect rigid bjects, adjustments t the set-up culd enable it t sense sfter targets, such as fruit.
Lee said further research is explring the ptential fr the micrphne array t identify bjects in additin t lcating them. Pssible uses utside agriculture culd include safety systems fr rbts wrking near peple, rbts designed fr human interactin, r peratins in lw-light envirnments.
8.What is special abut SnicBm cmpared with previus sensrs?
A.It is much cheaper t develp.
B.It can wrk withut using cameras.
      C.It will replace agricultural wrkers.
D.It serves lnger in indr cnditins.

      A.Prtects.B.Damages.C.Hides.D.Expses.
10.What can be inferred abut the prttype f SnicBm frm the text?
A.It des well in detecting sfter bjects.
      B.It needs 18,000 cntacts t wrk nrmally.
C.It gains prtectin frm the PVC husing.
D.It needs mre micrphnes fr better precisin.
11.What des Lee think f the future f SnicBm?
      A.Prmising.B.Limited.C.Prfitable.D.Impractical.
Accrding t a new study, harmful micrplastics are nt nly stred in agricultural and urban sils, but als in frests. The majrity f the tiny plastic particles (颗粒) enter the frests frm the air and stay in the frest sil.
"The micrplastics frm the atmsphere initially settle n the leaves f the tree crwns, which scientists refer t as the 'cmb-ut effect'," explains lead authr Dr Cllins J. Weber frm the Institute f Applied Gesciences at TU Darmstadt. "Then, in deciduus (落叶) frests, the particles are transprted t the frest sil by rain r the autumn leaf fall, fr example."
T cnduct their study, researchers frm the Department f Sil Mineralgy and Sil Chemistry cllected samples at fur frest lcatins east f Darmstadt, Germany. They applied a newly refined analytical technique that allwed them t measure the cncentratin f micrplastics in sil, fallen leaves, and atmspheric depsitin (the mvement f substances frm the Earth's atmsphere t its surface). The team then used spectrscpic (光谱学) methds t chemically analyze the samples. In additin, they created a mdel estimating atmspheric micrplastic inputs since the 1950s, helping them assess hw much these inputs have cntributed t verall strage in frest sils.
"Our results indicate that micrplastics in frest sils riginate primarily frm atmspheric depsitin and frm leaves falling t the grund, knwn as litterfall. Other surces, n the ther hand, have nly a minr influence," explains Weber. "We cnclude that frests are gd indicatrs f atmspheric micrplastic pllutin and that a high cncentratin f micrplastics in frest sils indicates a high input—as ppsed t direct inputs such as frm fertilizers in agriculture—f particles frm the air int these ecsystems."
The study is the first t demnstrate the pllutin f frests with micrplastics and the direct link between atmspheric inputs and the strage f micrplastics in frest sil, as these issues had nt previusly been scientifically investigated. The results prvide an imprtant basis fr assessing the envirnmental risks psed by micrplastics in the air and sil. The findings may highlight the glbal transprt f micrplastics in the air and thus als in the air we breathe.
12.What des Weber want t tell us in paragraph 2?
      A.The meaning f a new cncept.B.The features f deciduus frests.
C.Why trees can cnsume plastics.D.Hw micrplastics enter frest sil.
13.What did the researchers d in the study?

B.They cllected randm samples f agricultural sils.
      C.They investigated atmspheric micrplastic inputs.
      D.They recmmended redefining atmspheric depsitin.

C.They g against the glbal transprt f micrplastics.
D.They might cntribute t evaluatin f envirnmental threats.
15.What is the best title fr the text?
A.Frests Are Raining PlasticsB.Frest Sils Are Decreasing
C.Will Frests Prvide Clean Air?D.Can Frests Fight Micrplastics?
