Dear Peter,
I’m thrilled t get yur practice vide fr the Chinese petry recital cntest—yur passin fr Chinese petry really shws! I’m writing t share small suggestins that might help yu d even better.
After watching, I fund tw pints t adjust: first, yu misprnunced a few ancient wrds, like “jiu” (wine) sunding a bit like “ju”; secnd, yur rhythm was t fast, especially in the middle verses, which weakened the pem’s gentle md. Fr imprvement, listen t prfessinal recitals nline t cpy crrect prnunciatins and pause briefly at each cuplet’s end t stress the pem’s rise and fall.
Keep practicing, and yu’ll stand ut! If yu have mre questins r want t share anther vide, just reach ut anytime.
Yurs,
Li Hua

Para.1: When I met Halley again, I frced a smile. I tld him abut my mistake—hw I’d signed up fr Nature Camp by accident instead f Tech Camp. Halley’s eyes widened at first, but then he patted my shulder gently. “Nature Camp is awesme t!” he said, pulling ut a small ntebk filled with sketches f squirrels and fireflies. “We can watch birds at dawn, cllect pinecnes, and even stargaze tnight. Wh knws? These might give yu cler ideas fr yur animated characters than a cmputer screen!” His wrds made me feel a little less upset, thugh I still missed the cding plans I’d dreamed f.
Para. 2: “Okay, I’ll give it a try!” I said as I lked at Halley. That afternn, we jined the grup t hike thrugh the wds. Halley pinted ut a family f deer hiding behind ak trees, and I quickly tk phts with my phne—mentally nting their sft fur fr animatin details. At night, we lay n the grass, watching stars twinkle. Halley pinted ut the Big Dipper, and I imagined turning it int a magical backgrund fr my characters. By week’s end, I hadn’t tuched a cmputer, but I’d filled a ntebk with animal sketches and stry ideas. When I gt hme, I animated a little deer with a pinecne necklace—my favrite memry frm Nature Camp. Smetimes, mistakes lead t the best surprises.
