根据第二段中“Prf Dustin Rubenstein, a c-authr f the study frm the University f Clmbia, said such behavir is prbably necessary fr starlings as they live in an envirnment where drught is cmmn and fd is limited. 故选A项。
根据第五段“Writing in the jurnal Nature, Rubenstein reprted that his team studied starlings at 410 nests (鸟巢) in Kenya, recrding data ver a 20-year perid frm 2002 that cvered mre than 40 breeding seasns. The team als cllected DNA frm 1,175 birds t explre their relatinships with each ther.
通读全文,尤其是第四段“The results agree with previus wrk frm Rubenstein and c-wrkers that fund starlings living in larger grups have a greater chance f survival and f prducing babies, with the new wrk suggesting the give-and-take apprach helps t enlarge these grups.

If we want t build smething that is truly helpful, we need t fcus n the persnality design.”
Yet, t mst scientists wrking in the AI field, pinting ut a machine’s persnality, if they even have ne, is especially challenging. And the challenge is strengthened by a theretical difference in the AI field — What matters mre: hw a chatbt “feels” abut itself r hw a persn interacting with the chatbt feels abut the chatbt?
The difference reflects brader thughts arund the purpse f chatbts, says Maarten Sap, a natural language prcessing expert. The field f scial cmputing has lng fcused n hw t teach machines characteristics that help humans achieve their gals. Such chatbts culd serve as caches r jb trainers, fr instance. What des matter is hw it imteracts with its users and hw it’s designed t respnd,” Sap says. “That can lk like persnality t humans. Maybe we need new terminlgy (术语).”
      32. What can we infer frm Yang Lu’s experience with the chatbt?
      A. Humans depend heavily n chatbts.

      A. Increasing research in human persnalities.
      B. Changing chatbts’ interactin with humans.
      C. Making chatbts mre thughtful when prviding infrmatin.
      D. Enabling chatbts t read and respnd t persnality-related differences.
      34. What’s mst scientists’ attitude twards the idea that a machine can have persnalities?

根据第三段““Peple’s persnality shapes many things, frm hw they interact with ther peple t hw they speak and write,” says Zhang Xia, anther cmputer scientist. “Making chatbts capable f reading and respnding t thse differences seems a key next step in generative (生成式的) AI develpment. If we want t build smething that is truly helpful, we need t fcus n the persnality design.”(另一位计算机科学家张晓说:“人们的个性塑造了很多东西,从他们与他人的互动方式到他们的说话和写作方式。”

根据最后一段中的“But Sap and thers wrking with chatbts in this manner hesitate t call this feature persnality. “It desn’t matter what the persnality f AI is. What des matter is hw it imteracts with its users and hw it’s designed t respnd,” Sap says.(Sap说:“人工智能的个性是什么并不重要。 故选A项。
