      M: I wanted t g t a ftball match, but there were n tickets. S we went t see a mvie instead. The kids liked it, but I didn’t. It was bring, t be hnest.

      M: Helen likes trying new fd different frm Italian fd. S we planned t g t a Thai restaurant. Helen enjyed it, but the kids didn’t like the fd, s we walked t a Chinese restaurant, further alng the street.

      M: Hi, I’m Chris frm Flrida. Last year, I mved t Lndn, where I’m wrking fr an American cmpany. It’s been a big change, and there have been lts f things t get used t. Fr example, in the U.S. we drive n the right, while here in Britain I’ve had t get used t driving n the left.
      What else? Well, the weather in Flrida is usually great, s I’m used t lts f sunshine, and I used t sunbathe a lt. In Lndn it rains s much. I dn’t think I’ll ever get used t it, and I always remember t take my umbrella with me.
      Fd in England is different, t. In America, I used t eat a lt f Mexican fd. Here in England, peple lve Indian fd, s I’m getting used t the different tastes. At the cmpany where I wrk, it’s quite different. I used t wrk frm 9 a.m. till 11 p.m. I hated wrking s late. Here in England, I start at 8:30 a.m., but finish at 5 p.m. On Friday evening English peple like t g t the club with friends, but in America I used t g t the gym. I lve sprts.
      Is there anything else? Sme f the wrds are different. The subway is called the “undergrund” in Lndn, and British peple call the fall “autumn”.
