学习关于学校介绍的电子邮件,然后根据学习内容写一封关于自己学校的回信。谈论和描述自己在学校喜欢做的事情和喜欢的地方。

【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead - in
1. Greet students and ask them t talk abut their daily activities at schl.
2. Encurage students t share their favurite places in schl and the fun things they d there.
Step 2 Wrk n 1a
Ask students t list their favurite places in the schl. Then share them in class.
Step 3 Wrk n 1b
1. Explain that emails are a cmmn frm f written cmmunicatin and ften cntain imprtant infrmatin that needs t be quickly grasped.
2. Shw students the email frm Peter t Flra and ask them t skim the email t get the main idea. Guide students thrugh the prcess f skimming by instructing them t quickly sc an the email, paying attentin t the subject line, pening sentence, and cncluding paragraph.
3. Ask students t identify key wrds and phrases that give them an verview f the email's purpse and cntent. Encurage them t jt dwn ntes r highlight imprtant infrmatin.
4. Ask students t chse the questin Flra prbably asked in her last email (1b).
5. Diseuss the answers and reasns with students. Invite students t share their chsen questíns and the reasns fr their selectins. Encurage them t prvide evidence frm the email t supprt their answers. After several students have spken, summarize the main pint s and emphasize the imprtance f paying attentin t detail and cntext when analyzing written cmmunicatín.
Step 4 Wrk n 1c
1. Ask students t read the email again and underline the adjectives that describe different places in Peter's schl (1c).
2. Discuss the meaning f these adjectives and give examples f ther adjectives that can be used t describe places.
Step 5 Wrk n 1d
Have students wrk in pairs t answer the questins in 1d abut Peter's schl.
Encurage students t use the infrmatin frm the email t supprt their answers.
Step 6 Wrk n 2a
Ask students t cmplete the ntes abut their wn schl (2a). Guide students t include infrmatin abut their favurite place, its lcatin, reasns fr liking it, and activities they enjy there.
Step 7 Wrk n 2b
1. Mdel hw t write a reply t an email abut schl, using Peter's email as a reference.
2. Highlight imprtant parts f the email, such as greeting, intrductin, descriptin f the schl, and clsing.
3. Ask students t imagine receiving an email frm a friend abut his r her schl. Have students write a reply abut their wn schl, fllwing the structure mdeled in Step 6. Encur- age students t use the infrmatin they cmpleted in 2a t help them write their emails.
4. Ask several students t share their writings in class.
Step 8 Summary and Hmewrk
Summarize the main pints f the lessn and emphasize the imprtance f describing places and activities clearly and accurately.
Assign hmewrk: Ask students t revise and finalize their emails and prepare t share them with the class in the next lessn.
