Just the last 30 meters and - “Number 5, Katia Smith, takes the gld fr Hillside Middle Schl.” bellwed the annuncer. Surprised, Katia rushed ver t her raring teammates. As Katia squatted t unties her shes, Gracia cried ut, Katia, yu brke a recrd fr the 400 meters race! Then she added, Lucky yu.” Lucky me?" Katia frze at first and then she realized that there were n lucky spikes but her effrts brught true luck.
