But when Kate lked at the price n the menu, her thughts raced, calculating the little mney she had left after saving fr mnths just t make this night special fr Hlly.
      Thinking f her financial struggles, Kate stepped aside t the cunter, where a waiter was serving a graceful lady wearing a white cat. With fear and embarrassment, Kate tried t keep her vice dwn and asked the waiter if they had any discunt fr the dinner.
      “Ma’ am, we dn’t have any discunt,” the waiter said sftly, his vice lw but firm. And then he cntinued serving the wman. Hearing that, Kate returned t the table and her heart was heavy, frcing a smile fr Hlly, wh was still jyfully chsing her favrite fd, unaware f the cncern inside her mther.

I hpe this helps make yur daughter’s birthday a little mre special.” Kate hugged the wman tightly, grateful fr her kindness. As she watched the taxi drive away, Kate realized that smetimes a small act f kindness can make a big difference in smene’s life. She vwed t pay it frward smeday, just like the wman in the white cat had dne fr her.
