      Emma’s thrat tightened. She’d never knwn much abut her mther, wh’d passed away when she was a baby. But nw, hlding the lcket, she felt a strange warmth spread thrugh her chest.
      "I… I dn’t knw what t say," Emma stammered.
      "Just wear it," her grandmther said, patting her hand. "And remember—yur mther believed in yu. S d I."
