When tur guide and wildlife phtgrapher Gaurav Ramnarayanan was n a safari jeep with his turists at
Kaziranga Natinal Park, they heard an alarm call frm a deer—the sund an animal makes when it sees a
predatr(捕食者). He began driving, turning a crner befre stpping the car in its tracks: Arund 700 meters
away, there was a tiger n the rad. When he lked at the predatr thrugh his camera lens: With strawberry-
blnde stripes, the big cat was unmistakably a rare “glden” tiger.
“
The tiger decided t cme twards us, nt with any intentin fr attack r any intentin t harm us, but purely
t pass thrugh his path and prceed with marking his territry,” says Ramnarayanan. He was able t snap
incredible shts f the tiger as it walked alng the rad, cming within 100meters f the safari jeep.
Ramnarayanan psted an image nline, and Internet users were quick t express their admiratin fr the
stunning pht and the tiger’s unusual clring.
But glden tigers are nt a subspecies: They’re the result f a genetic mutatin(突变) that changes the clr f
their fur. And while they are beautiful, their presence has a dark side. Glden tigers, like white and snw- white
tigers, are ne result f a recessive trait that appears as a mutatin in clr-creating gene.
While it’s a unique selling pint fr visitrs, the park is nt celebrating; The recessive genes are shwing up
due t inbreeding(同系繁殖) within a weakened ppulatin. Arund 70% f Assam’s 190 tigers reside in
Kaziranga, but rapid develpment in the regin means wildlife is lsing its histric migratin rutes between
habitats.
Fr phtgrapher Ramnarayanan, Kaziranga’s glden tiger was his first sighting f these unusually clred
big cats. Striking as it was, he’s cnscius f the rarity, and hpes he can inspire cnversatins abut hw t better
prtect wildlife. “As a phtgrapher, I can bring messages ut t the public,” he adds.

We may nt always ntice that we frequently imitate each ther in cnversatin, using similar gestures,

idelgies(意识形态) such as Equality, Diversity, and Inclusin (EDI).
“
This affected nt nly the system f values f thse cmmunities but als their interactinal behaviur, nw
increasingly mving twards pen acknwledgement f ther peple’ s talk,” said Dr Tantucci. “This increase is
nt fund in wrkplaces where these idelgies are nt rutinely encuraged.”
“
When wrds and expressins are creatively reused in cnversatin, speakers are mre engaged with each
ther’s speech, shwing a mre inclusive attitude twards what has just been said by the ther party,” explains Dr
Tantucci. “They make the ther persn’s speech sund mre imprtant.”
This phenmenn—resnance—has becme mre bvius acrss higher scial grades f British Sciety than

with my family t the ancient city f Xi’an. We explred the Terractta Army, which was an astnishing sight, and
tasted the lcal delicacies that were simply muth- watering. Anther highlight was the Xi’an City Wall, where we
marveled at its grandeur and felt the histrical significance it carries.
The trip was nt just abut the places we visited but the bnd it strengthened amng us. It was a blend f
adventure, culture, and family time that I will cherish frever. I hpe t hear abut yur summer adventures t!

参考范文:
I thught maybe the disgusting fish I saw earlier had smething t d with this ld man’s actins. The fish he
caught had been skinny and lked sick. I was s clse t him that I culd hear him say smething abut the peple
plluting the water. That’s when I realized what he was talking abut. The reasn why we saw the dead fish earlier
was that peple were plluting the water. I nticed the fish he caught had the same black pattern n its scales as the
dead fish. Thse weren’t scales; thse were the result f bad chemicals. I felt really bad fr the fish.
Hearing what they talked abut the seriusness f water pllutin, I understd why. Maybe smene threw
sme trash with chemicals int the water. Then anther persn threw anther piece f trash int the lake. Maybe
when the tw chemicals were mixed tgether, they created a new deadly substance that killed the fish. This desn’t
just affect the fish, it affects us t. If the smaller fish get pisned, and the big fish eat them, the big fish will get
pisned. If we eat the pisned fish, we will get pisned. Then, Dahu Park will nt be famus fr its Mn
Bridge, but it will be famus fr its dead fish.
