Simply put, ultra-prcessed fds are fds that yu can't re-create in yur kitchen, accrding t the BBC. Prduced in factries, they ften have lng lists f ingredients that yu dn't recgnize, such as additives, and are ready t eat r simply need t be heated.
The study's researchers linked UPFs t addictin, which includes behavirs like strng cravings(渴望 ) and negative experiences when trying t stp cnsumptin. They analyzed 281 studies frm 36 different cuntries and regins. The findings shwed that 14 percent f adults and 12 percent f children are addicted t ultra-prcessed fds. Usually, natural fds are either high in carbhydrates (碳水化合物) r high in fat, but UPFs can be high in bth, which cntributes t their addictive ptential.
