细节理解题是用来进一步表达主题、体现中心思想的。这类题主要考查的是同学们识别阅读材料中的具体事实和细节的能力，往往会针对文章中的某个细节来设题。 在答题时，同学们要特别注意文章中提及的人物、事件、地点、时间、因果等细节，并在细节的地方进行标注，如，将人和物的名称用圆圈圈出、时间用波浪线画出等，以便在答题和检查时能迅速查找信息。
细节理解题
考查内容主要涉及时间、地点、人物、事件、原因、结果、数字等议论文中例证细节和定义类细节。这类题目的共同特点是：答案一般都能在文章中找到。当然，答案并不一定是文章中的原句，大家需要根据文章提供的信息自己组织语句回答问题。
高考细节理解题主要分直接辨认和间接辨认两种。
1.直接辨认：细节的直接辨认不要求读者对客观事实作解释或判断，只要求他们从阅读材料中直接获取信息，要求学生记住重要的细节，在需要的时候能准确而迅速地将他们回忆出来。
2.间接辨认：间接辨认不仅要求读者能从阅读材料中直接获取信息，还要将获得的信息进行同义转换，用同义或近义的形式复述出来，为阅读材料中某些词汇、短语及句型等找到正确的英语释义，以检测考生的句义复述能力。
题型01 直接信息题
【题型诠释】
1．设题特点
常涉及考查直接信息理解题的一般为应用文。涉及人与社会方面的：①活动介绍；②演出信息；③旅游广告等。
2．常见设问方式
特殊疑问句形式：以when、 where、 what、 which、 wh等疑问词开头引出的问题。
定位对比找答案
一定关键词——通过题干信息确定关键词，如与人物、事件、地点、时间等相关的名词或动词，
二查寻原文——在原文中查读关键词原词或其派生词、近义词或反义词，找相关句子
三细对比——比对选项和原文细节，确定答案
