教材分析
本课是新目标英语八年级下册Unit9 Have yu ever been t a museum?第九单元第5课时，本节课是一节阅读课，继续巩固现在完成的用法的同时，通过短文学习让学生了解新加坡的文化，包括新加坡的位置、人口、语言、食物、动物园和天气，然后结合所学知识来写一篇My Hmetwn.
教学目标
根据教学大纲的要求和教学内容的特点，本节课特制定以下教学目标：

2、阅读理解一直是学生的薄弱环节，在平时的教学中要 适当进行训练。

五、学情分析
在教学过程中，对学情的了解是教师因材施教的关键。我所教的八（8）班学生多，两极分化严重，但学习目的明确，学英语的兴趣还比较好，80%的学生学习主动、自觉，具有一定的自觉能力。学生在七年级就已经学过一般过去时来描述过去的经历，但用现在完成时来描述过去的经历还是第一次接触，需要教师的正确引导。
六、教学方法
（一）、语言技能采用启发式教学法
1、Reading: 能读懂 3a，并能从中提取信息: what ?hw?, 标出重点的句子；能针对所读语段的内容记录、标记 what? Why？信息。
2、writing:能有效地理解 what? Why？特点和结构；
（二）、语言知识采用情景教学法
1．理解和领悟 rller caster, cruise, bat, take a ride, bard. 2.句型:Have yu ever been t ……? Yes, I have. N, I haven’t.
3.学会用 have / has been t …谈论曾经去过的地方
4. 语法：完成时态。运用语言知识让学生进行听说训练和理解并学会应用委婉语。

四、讲解释疑
1.mre than a. 超过，多于 + 数词 相当于 ver
b.名词前时“不只是” ；形容词前时“非常”

2. three quarters = three furths 四分之三
a.英语中分数的表示为：分子用基数词，分母用序数词；分子大于1时，分母要用序数词复数形式。eg: ne third 1/3 tw fifths 2/5

七、教学反思
通过对文章的了解，让学生体会帮助别人的乐趣，学会互相帮助，好学生能根据流程图基本复述 2b并掌握其中重点词句；中等学生能理解 3a,并能完成相应练习，中下学生能读和记住个别重点句子，学困生让会读课文，背会5个以上的重点短语，本节课的教学目标都圆满完成，在解决本课主要通过速度、略读等阅读方法让学生学习理解文章，听录音齐读，同桌交流或小组交流来学会如何学习并使用英语，让学生进行大量的读写的练习。
