Lacquer is a natural paint harvested frm a pisnus tree that is native t China, Japan and Krea. Once dried, it is remarkably resistant t water, acid, and, t a certain degree, heat. It is cllected between June and Octber. A wrker can generally handle 400-500 lacquer trees and gather up t 75kg in ttal per year.
