A vlunteer experience
It was March 2018. I was finishing high schl. While I was lking frward t my cllege years, I als felt a strng desire t vlunteer abrad. After weeks f serius cnsideratin, I decided t have a gap year(间隔年).
I cannt tell yu hw many hurs I spent trying t find the prgramme I was mst interested in. I cntacted many vlunteer rganizatins. In the end, I signed up with " African Impact". I wanted t make an impact（影响）-n matter hw small-n Africa and its peple.
I tk part in the Child Care Prject. We wrked in an rphanage (孤儿院) in Cape Twn( 开普敦） and spent time with a grup f rphans（孤儿） between the ages f 0 and 3.
