基数词序数词数词的其他表达方式
1.表示数目多少的数词叫基数词。它的构成方式如下:
由表格我们可以得出下面的规律:① 1-12 为独立的单词,有其各自的形式;② 13-19 都以 teen 结尾,单词中的两个音节都读重音;③ 20-90 之间“整十”都以-ty 结尾,单词中的第一个音节重读;④ 20-99 之间的“几十几”,十位和个位之间加连字符“-”;⑤ 101-999 之间的非整百的基数词的读法为:百位数和十位数(或个位数)之间用 and 连接;⑥ 四位数或四位数以上的基数词的拼写规律为:用逗号从右向左每三位加一个逗号,第一个逗号前用 thusand,第二个逗号前用 millin,第三个逗号前用 billin;读数时从左向右一次读出来。如:3, 728, 221, 969 可读为 three billin, seven hundred and twenty-eight millin, tw hundred and twenty-ne thusand, nine hundred and sixty-nine
基数词的构成口诀:1 至 12 独立词,13 至 19-teen 加起,20 至 90 整十位,-ty 结尾是后缀;几十几,连字符“-”莫忘记;几百几,hundred 后面 and 立。即学即练:用英文读出下列数字104 __________27, 902 __________3, 357, 346 __________7, 504, 750, 110 __________
2. 基数词的用法 (1) 表示数量的多少、号码的大小等。如:There are tw playgrunds in ur schl. 我们学校有两个操场。—What size d yu need? 你要多大号码的?—Size five. 五号。(2) 表示年份、年龄或时刻。如:The little by was brn in 1995. 这个男孩出生于 1995 年。My grandma is eighty years ld. 我奶奶呢 80 岁了。I fell ff frm my bike at the age f 16. 我16的时候从自行车上摔下来了。—What time is it nw? 现在几点了?—It’s abut nine ’clck. 大约 9 点。
注意:表达“在几十年代”时,用“in the + 几十的基数词的复数形式”;表达“在某人几十岁时”,用“in ne’s +几十的基数词的复数形式”。如:In his twenties my uncle went t France. 我叔叔在他二十多岁时去了法国。In the 1900s, Mr. Wang wrked in a factry. 二十世纪九十年代,王先生在一家工厂上班。
(3) 表示顺序。基数词表示顺序时,由“单数名词+基数词”构成,此时名词和基数词的第一个字母通常大写。如:—What class are yu in this term? 这学期你在哪个班?—I’m in Class One Grade Three. 我在三年级一班。(4)“anther + 基数词 + 名词”或“基数词 + mre + 名词”表示在已有基础上再增加一定的数量。如:In anther tw weeks, it will be finished. 再过两个星期,这活就完成了。

3. hundred, thusand, millin, billin 的特殊用法(1) hundred, thusand 等数词,其前有具体数字修饰,表示具体的数目时,用单数。如:The by has cllected tw thusand stamps. 这个男孩已经收集了两千张邮票。(2) 当 hundred, thusand 等与“f + 复数名词”连用时,表示模糊概念,这时hundred, thusand 等要用复数形式。如:Every year, there are hundreds f peple visiting the place f interest. 每年有成百上千人参观这处名胜。

1. 序数词的构成方式序数词大都是由基数词变化而来的。其构成形式如下:
基数词变序数词口诀:基变序,有规律,加上th 就可以;1/2/3,特殊记;结尾字母tdd;8 少 t,9 去 e;ve 来把 f 替;若是遇到整十数y,结尾ty改 ie;若是遇到几十几,只变个位就可以。注意:序数词在实际书写运用时,常用缩写形式,缩写形式为“阿拉伯数字 + 序数词最后面的两个字母”。如:first ---1st; seventeenth --- 17th; twenty-secnd --- 22nd; thirty-third ---33rd
2. 序数词的用法(1) 表示顺序。序数词表示顺序时,其前需用定冠词 the,后面接单数名词。如:February is the secnd mnth f the year. 二月是一年中的第二个月。(2) 表示日期中的“日”。如:Mnday, February 2nd 2 月 2 号,星期一(3) 序数词前也可用不定冠词 a / an,表示“再……,又……”。如:I’ve tried twice, but I’ll try a third time. 我已试过两次了,但我将再试一次。注:序数词前有形容词性物主代词/名词所有格修饰时,序数词前不用the。如:This is ur first lessn this term. 这是我们这一学期的第一节课。the tenth birthday her tenth birthday Mike’s tenth birthday

三、数词的其他常用表达法
1. 分数、小数、百分数和倍数(1)用数词表达分数时,分子用基数词,分母用序数词;如果分子大于 1,分母用复数。如:Only ne-fifth f air cnsists f xygen. 氧气只占空气的五分之一。注意:“四分之一”常表示为 a quarter;“四分之三”表示为“three quarters”;“二分之一”表示为“a half”。如:I will take three quarters f the tea away. 我要拿走茶叶的四分之三。(2)用数词表达小数的形式为:基数词+pint+基数词ne pint tw1.2 tw pint tw three2.23twenty-five pint three fur25.34
(3)百分数 : 基数词+percenttw percent 2% thirty-five percent 35%(4)倍数:基数词+times倍数为2时,也可用duble、twice表示,倍数为3时,也可用triple表示。表示 A 是 B 的几倍时,常用下面的三种方法:(1) A + 动词 + 倍数 + 比较级 + than B(2) A + 动词 + 倍数 + as + 原级 + as B(3) A + 动词 + 倍数 + the + 相应的名词 + f B如:这根绳子是那根的 3 倍长。This rpe is twice lner than that ne.This rpe is three times as lng as that ne.This rpe is three times the length f that ne.
3. 编号的表达法电话号码、汽车号码等的编号。这些编号要用阿拉伯数字。朗读时,若是遇到 0,既能读作字母 O 音,也可读作 zer(零);两个相同的数字在一起时,还可读作 duble。如:Tel: 4885207 读作 fur, duble eight, five, tw, zer, seven
4. 约数的表达法英语中除了用 hundreds f, thusands f 等表达“约数”外,还有以下几种表达法:(1) “大约”用 abut, nearly, arund 等。如:The dg weighs abut 80 punds. 这条狗约 80 磅重。(2) “多于”“超过”用 ver, mre than。如:Answer these questins in nt mre than / ver 45 wrds. 回答下列问题,不要超过 45 个单词。(3) “不超过”“少于”用 less than, belw。如:She is less than twenty years ld. 她不到 20 岁。
(4) “左右”用 r s 表达。如:In the past fifty years r s, scientists have been able t see farther and farther int the sky. 在过去 50 年左右的时间里,科学家已经能够观察到越来越远的太空。(5) “.…..或者……以上”用…r mre 表示。如:The hall can hld 1,000 peple r mre. 大厅可容纳 1000 人或者更多。(6) “.…..或者……以下”用…r less 表示。如:There are 2,000 students r less in ur schl. 我们学校有 2000 或将近 2000 名学生。
