Researchers had 16 participants fllw tw different meal schedules, each fr a perid f six days in ttal. The first grup had their meals early in the day with the last meal cnsumed six hurs and 40 minutes befre bedtime. The secnd grup had their daily meals fur hurs later. This meant they skipped breakfast and instead had lunch, dinner and an evening meal. Their last meal was cnsumed nly tw and a half hurs befre sleep. All the participants cnsumed the same diet, and all f their meals were equally space d with arund fur hurs between them.
The researchers lked at three measures assciated with weight gain: the influence f appetite, the impact f eating time n calries burned, and changes f
