Twenty years ag, I received an ffer fr a minr rle in a small independent film called Scrpin Spring. I gt the script and I didn’t read ne page f it, nt a wrd. Why? Time t sht the scene. N prblem. I arrived in character. I didn’t intrduce myself t the ther actrs because my man didn’t care abut them and my man was ging t kill them in this scene anyway. Just befre we tk ur marks a prductin assistant came up t me, “Sme script, Mr. McCnaughey?” I tk them and just shved them in my pcket withut lking at them.
