    W: In 1933, an unknwn American called Clarence Nash went t see the filmmaker Walt Disney. He had an unusual vice and he wanted t wrk in Disney’s cartn films fr children. When Walt Disney heard Nash’s vice, he said “Stp! That’s ur duck!” The duck was the nw famus Dnald Duck, wh first appeared in 1934 in the film The Wise Little Hen.Dnald lived in an ld husebat and wre his sailr jacket and hat. Later that year he became a star after an eight-minute Mickey Muse film. The audience liked him because he was lazy and greedy, and because he lst his temper very quickly. And they lved his vice when he became angry with Mickey’s eight nephews. Sn Dnald was mre ppular than Mickey Muse himself. In the 1930s,40s and 50s Dnald and his friends Mickey, Gfy and Plut made hundreds f Disney cartns. He als made educatinal films abut the place f the USA in the wrld, and safety in the hme. Then in 1966 Dnald Duck and his vice disappeared --- there were n mre new cartns. Clarence Nash passed away in February, 1985.
