One day Peng Xianzhe learned he wuld g t the Mashan Schl in Guizhu. The 16-year-ld by tried t imagine hw serius the drught was fr the students at that schl. Hwever, he realized it was mre serius than he had imagined when he saw the sign "DON'T wash clthes with water, r yu will be punished (惩罚)."

Peng and ther fur students went t the Mashan Schl and gave the dnatins with five teachers. They visited pr families, made surveys and had classes at the schl.
Ding Zhenta, 16, was wrried abut the schl's pr learning envirnment. "The blackbards and playgrund are t shabby t use," Ding said. "Besides, there really aren't enugh teachers. A teacher has t teach bth histry and English, and even the ck is a class teacher."
Althugh life isn't easy, students at the schl have a psitive attitude (积极的态度) twards life and they are quite willing t learn. That's what mved 16-year-ld Chen Shi mst.
"They sang their sngs tgether as usual befre class every afternn. After class, the students asked us t tell them things abut Beijing and ur studies," Chen said. "Yu can see the passin (热情) in them. I believe it will make a difference. Their futures will be bright."
