How many? 意思是“有多少个?”

There aren't many people.  意思是“(这里)人不多。”

Are there any tall buildings in the nature park?意思是“自然公园里有高楼吗?”

重点句型讲解

1. How many?有多少个?

【点拨】这是询问数量的句型，这句话省略了“lakes are there in the park".当 两

个人都知道问什么的时候，就可以直接用how many提问。

句型结构: How many+可数名词复数(+ are there+其他)?

【例句】How many pencils are there in the pencil box?铅笔盒里有多少支铅笔?

How many flowers are there in the bottle?瓶子里有多少枝花?

[注意] how many用来对可数名词的数量进行提间。

[拓展]“How much ..?.也可用来询问数量，但只能对不可数名词的数量进行时

间。

【例句】How much milk is there?有多少牛奶?

How much money do you have?你有多少钱?

2. There aren't many people. (这里)人不多。

【点拨】"There are...”句型的肯定陈述句改为否定陈述句，是在be动词后加not,此处aren’t= are not,单数形式为is not = isn't。 there be句型还有另外一种否定形式,是在be动词后加no,但此时名词前不能加a/an/any等。

【例句】There isn't a banana on the table.桌上没有香蕉。

There aren't any tigers in the zoo.动物园里没有老虎。

There is no milk in the box. 盒子里没有牛奶。

There are no students in the classoom.教室里没有学生。

3.Are there any tall buildings in the nature park?自然公园里有高楼吗?[来源:学+科+网Z+X+X+K]

【点拨】“There are ...”句型的一般疑问句用来询问在其地是否有某些人或物。

句型结构为: Are there +any十可数名词复数十地点状语?

肯定回答: Yes, there are.

否定回答: No, there aren't.

【例句】一Are there any monkeys here?这儿有些猴子吗?

一No, there aren't.不,没有。
