Students can accurately organise language using the sentence patterns and stucture learnt in the class in the writing .

一、Pre-writing

1. Greeting

2. Learn a sample suggestion letter to analyse the structure of a suggestion letter and learn three sentence patterns to express suggestions.

1)  the structure of a suggestion letter

para 1：the purpose of your writing

para 2： your suggestions and reasons

para 3： your hope

2)  transitional words：

1. to start with ，what’s more，last but not the least

2. bacause ，for ，so that …

3)  useful sentence patterns：

3. Another thing I would suggest is that…

4) A model suggestion letter to the head teacher
