Yur cat is prbably keeping track f where yu are, even if yur feline(猫科的)friend isn't in the same rm with yu and can't see yu.
Scientists recently learned that huse cats create “mental maps”that tell them where nearby humans are lcated, based n where sunds are cming frm. The researchers tested cats by playing recrdings f human vices calling the cats’names;they then played thse recrdings again, nly this time thrugh a speaker in a different place,s that the same sunds came frm farther away. The cats acted surprised when the familiar vice came frm a lcatin that they didn't expect, based n what they had already heard. This suggests that cats spatially(空间上)lcate their unseen human cmpanins using audi cues—a cgnitive(认知)ability that was previusly unknwn in felines.
Knwing that smething cntinues t exist even if it's ut f sight is called bject permanence, and it's a test that researchers use t measure animal intelligence. C.T tell hw t test cats'cgnitive ability.
    D.T shw hw t develp babies’intelligence.

What Wuld It Feel Like t Tuch a Clud?
When characters fly r fall thrugh the sky, they ften d all srts f crazy things t tuch cluds as if the sky were made f cttn balls.36 But we prbably didn't realize it at the time. “Technically, cluds are really tiny, little drplets(滴)f water that happens t be flating in the air,” said Pistne, a research scientist wrking at NASA t study cluds.
37 Let's take examples. Have yu ever walked utside n a really fggy day?The type f day that yu can't see very far. Fg is the exact same thing as a clud.38 If yu dn't remember ever walking thrugh fg,r perhaps live in a dry area where fg is nt cmmn,Pistne said it feels like walking thrugh a very light fine rain. But nt quite, because the clud drplets are a lt smaller than the rain drplets.
Cluds d mre than make rain and snw.39 Black r dark cluds usually mean a strm is cming because they're packed s full f water that light can't pass thrugh them. On the ther hand, many cluds appear bright white because when light frm the sun tries t shine thrugh, it gets bunced arund by the many suspended(悬着的)water drplets. All f this is imprtant fr scientists t study because a lt f big, white cluds help reflect heat back int space.40
S the next time yu see a sky full f pillw-white cluds, think abut all the ways thse tiny water drplets might be affecting the wrld arund us.
    A. Their clr is als interesting.
B.That's why we can see bright white cluds.
C.Why d many peple like walking thrugh fg?
D.But what wuld it feel like t tuch a clud in real life?
E.This means cluds n Earth play a rle in climate change.
F.Believe it r nt, many f us have already tuched a clud.
G.That's because fg is just a type f clud that frms n the grund.
