Looking at the sun and the stars is a good way to find a direction. This method (方法) works when the sky is clear. But what can we do on a cloudy day?
We can use a compass (指南针) in any weather. As you know, a compass shows north, south, east, and west. However, using a compass is not so easy. First, we need to know where north is on the map. Then, we can set the compass.

Most people have jobs. Some people are lucky to have interesting jobs and make lots of money. Some people do not have funny jobs or make much money, but they still love their jobs because they want to do something good for the people and their country.
Some jobs are challenging (挑战性) and take a long time to learn. Doctors study for about six years after finishing school. Airline pilots (宇航员) study longer. Most airline pilots are over 30 years old.
Some jobs are often right for young people. Football and tennis players are usually under 35. Older people usually cannot play these sports very well. They cannot move fast enough.
Most people retire(退休)when they are 60 years old. But some people never retire. Scientists, writers and artists usually work until the end of their lives. Their jobs are their lives.
