2. 掌握含if条件状语从句的主从复合句的用法,主句用将来时,从句用现
在时。
- 能用if引导的条件状语从句作出假设,用谈论结果。
- 能正确使用情态动词should提出建议。
二、重点:

(一)句型与词汇
1. 句型:
① If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time.
--What will happen if they have the party today?
--If they have it today, half the class won’t come.
If you take the bus to the party, you’ll be late.
If you stay at home, you’ll be sorry.
② Can you give me some advice please?
I think you should go to college.
If people have problems, they should keep them to themselves.
Should we ask people to bring food ?

(二)语法:
If 引导的条件状语从句
1. if 引导的条件状语从句可放在主句后,也可以放在主句前(必须用逗号[来源:学#科#网]
隔开)。
e.g. Don’t wait for me if I am late.
If you work hard, your dream will come true.
You must stop if the traffic lights are red.[来源:学科网]
2. If 引导条件状语从句时,主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时表示将
来——主将从现原则。
e.g. If it rains tomorrow, I will play the piano.
If I have much money in the future, I will travel all over the world.
(三)教材中的重点固定搭配
- too…to 太......而不能
e.g. The child is too young to go to school.
- make friends with sb.与某人交朋友
e.g. He has made friends with his classmates.
- keep…to oneself 保守秘密
e.g. If people have problems, they should keep them to themselves.
- make mistakes 犯错误
e.g. Some students made some mistakes in grammar.
- in the end 最后;终于

e.g. In English, we say that sharing a problem is like cutting it in half.
- keep doing sth 继续做某事
e.g. Keep (on) talking, I’ll be back soon.
- run away from 逃避
e.g. It’s best not to run away from our problems.
- be halfway to 完成/做了某事的一部分
e.g. You’re halfway to solving a problem just by talking to someone about it !
