A Brave Young Man

    It was a nice day last Sunday. Zhang Ming was fishing by the Qinhuai River when a little boy went to play nearby. Suddenly, Zhang Ming heard someone shouting for help. He looked around and found that the little boy fell into the water. It was very dangerous. Zhang Ming jumped into the river immediately. He tried his best to pull the boy out of the river. At that time other people came to offer help. Finally, the boy was saved and he was very grateful. People all said Zhang Ming was very brave and helpful. We should learn from him.

二、答案：

I can see a man and a woman in the picture. The man is throwing rubbish on the ground. The woman is telling him to put the rubbish in the dustbin.

When I see people litter like this, I believe I cannot stand by and do nothing. I will stop them from doing so, like the woman in the picture did. The city is our home. It's our duty to protect our environment. What's more, it's important to learn to be a civilized person.

    Li Shuo is a five-year-old boy. One Sunday afternoon, his mother was going to Wuhan to help the patients there. Li Shuo, together with his father, said goodbye to his mother at the airport. He missed his mother very much after she left. One day, Li Shuo saw his mother on TV. He ran over at once and kissed her deeply. Two months later, his mother came back and received a warm welcome as a hero. When his mother finally got home, both Li Shuo and his father gave her a big hug. How happy they were to be together again!

四、答案：

Yesterday afternoon, I went home after school. I wanted to help my father sweep the floor, but he said, “You needn't do that. Do some reading! ” Later when I was watching TV, my mother came and turned off the TV. She said, “Don't watch TV. Go to study! ”

I know my parents love me and want me to have a good future. But should I spend all the time on my study? There are many other things for me to learn and I want to know more about the outside world, too.

As students, it's our duty to study. But that's not the only thing for us to do.
