A Day at the Nature Center
Emma stared (凝视) sadly out of the window of the bus. Only 50 miles outside town was the farm. She thought about the farm all the time, especially the animals.
When her family sold the farm and moved to nearby town, Emma was excited, got to the new school, she felt very lonely.
With a sigh (叹气), Emma turned her attention back to the present. The bus came to a stop. “Welcome to the Leinweber Nature Center,” her teacher said. “A guide will give us a presentation about animals, and then you’ll help to feed the baby squirrels. Now, I want everyone to find a partner. ”
Emma didn’t have any friends yet — who would be her partner? Emma got close to Julia, a talkative and outgoing girl. “Could I be your partner?” Emma asked uncertainly.
“Sure,” said Julia warmly.
Together, the girls walked into the center. After the presentation, a keeper showed them how to hold the bottle of milk for baby squirreLs. Then the girls started to feed their own baby squirrels.
After the babies finished eating, the keeper asked, “Would you like to help feed the adult squirrels, too?”
Emma was quick to volunteer, but when the keeper opened the first cage, the squirrel inside jumped out. Emma remained calm (镇静的), held out her hand, made quiet sounds, and then quickly got it.
“Wow!” Julia said. “You’re always so quiet, I thought you were afraid of everything, but you are brave.”
“I know that when animals are frightened or excited, you have to stay calm. ”
The keeper nodded in agreement and asked Emma, “Would you be interested in volunteering to help out with the animals at the center?”

Rubbish sorting (分类) probably doesn’t sound like much fun. But there is a new mobile game that may change your opinion about it, and you might even learn something while you play it—Meet Sortee.
Meet Sortee is a puzzle game developed by Flow Studio, a UK company. It makes you think deeply about everyday objects and their meanings.
The rule of the game is quite simple. Two bins are placed on either side of the screen. Each of the bins has a label next to it and the label explains what it is for. When an object, such as a car or an apple, appears on the screen, you need to decide which bin it should be sorted into and then send it there by moving your finger.
The game seems easy enough at first. But as you move on to more levels, it gets harder. The number of bins increases to three or four and the time given gets shorter. You need to think and move faster. That can be really difficult.
There are 400 objects in total and more than 100 bins in the game. The more objects you correctly sort, the more game coins you can get. It’s a bit like working in a rubbish recycling center, but it has no bad smell.
You can download the free game from an app store, but it only lets you play the first few levels. If you want to open the next 40 levels, you need to pay 6 yuan for the full game.
69.Paragraph 3 is mainly about ________.
A.how to sort the rubbish B.where to sort the rubbish
C.how to play the game D.where to play the game
70.Which of the following can we infer from the passage?

B.rubbish sorting in the game is boring
C.the rubbish smells good in a rubbish recycling center
D.the game can help people learn about rubbish sorting

A.A mobile game B.Rubbish sorting C.An app store D.A recycling center

81.Dear Tom,
Thank you for your letter. I’m glad to share with you my plan for the coming summer holiday.
First of all, I will spend 7 to 10 days travelling in Sanya, Hainan Province in July. I’m going to take a plane there with my parents. I think I will have a wonderful time playing and relaxing on the beautiful beach there. Then, in August, I plan to spend at least a week doing voluntary work in the community. I can help the children with their English because I am good at English. What’s more, I can also teach kids to play soccer since I play it very well. While I am staying at home, I also have many things to do. Every day, I will spend at least 30 minutes in the morning exercising in order to keep healthy. In the afternoon, I will help my mother with housework. I will not forget to go over the lessons and do homework in the evening. On weekends, I think I will do some reading about Chinese history and culture.
I am sure I will have a wonderful and meaningful summer holiday. What about yours? Do you have any plans for your holiday?
Yours,
Li Hua
