    Unit 1

    介词over,under,below和above的用法区别

The temperature will stay above zero in the daytime.
This place is below sea level.
    He can’t be much below /under sixty.
    He’s over sixty.
We waited over one hour for the bus because there were too many people.
There were under forty people at the meeting.

I wonder who she is.
I wonder if you can help me.
No wonder you can’t find anybody here; they’re all away at a meeting.
The Grand Canyon is one of the natural wonders of the world.

    something
I have something important to do.
—Would you like something to eat?
    —Yes, please.
    anything
Did you find anything in the room?
    I looked around, but I didn’t see anything.
He is lucky and can get anything he wants.
    nothing

    everything
Everything will be fine. Don’t worry.

yesterday, last week, two years ago, in 1900, in the past等。如:
①The children played football on the playground just now.
②He read an interesting story this morning.
③We visited the museum last week.

I enjoyed the sunshine and the beach there "可知,Pretty good"相当好"符合语境。

At last, we did well and my team won the race"可知选D。
    18.A 根据设空后的"we would like to give up"可知此处是说我们太累了以至于想要放弃。
keep doing sth.
