Now, it seems that artficial intelligence(人工智能)is becoming more and more popular in our life, and it has greatly influenced the ways we live, work and play. Can you imagine that you can play table tennis with a robot one day?
Recently, a scientist has invented a special robot that can be a table tennis coach. That means people can practice table tennis not only with humans but also with a robot.
Named Forpheus, the smart table tennis robot is quite special. It can study the movements of human players and the speeds of the ball. In this way, it can exactly judge (判断) the player' skill levels (水平). Then it uses the information to change the ways to play. If the player are just beginners, Forpheus will play in a slow and easy way, but if the players are better ones, the robot will play in a faster and more difficult way. What's more, while playing, it encourages players to try their beat with words like "Good job!", "Come on!" and so on. At the same time, it gives some good advice to improve their skills. So it is both a good partner and a clever coach.
Science and technology is developing quickly these days and it's hard to imagine what will happen in the future. "In the next 20 years, it will be possible that one robot teaches another to play table tennis or even invents another one!" Takuoya, the inventor of the robot, said.
根据文章内容,判断句子正误。正确的用“A”表示,错误的用“B”表示。

23. The robot can judge the skill levels of human players exactly.

This summer I attended my first music festival. Most of the festivalgoers needed to buy tickets, but we didn’t. Instead, we volunteered as festival managers. We each worked 3 shifts (轮班) - each shift was 8 hours long-in exchange for a free ticket to the festival.
Leeds Festival is a large music festival which takes place yearly at the end of August, and thousands of people attend it each year.
There were several different periods. Each of them was fit for a different music taste: rock, pop, alternative and dance. As well as the fantastic music, there were also funfair (杂耍) rides, food outlets and a silent disco. I loved silent discos: everyone had a set of headphones (耳机) with two channels and music was played through the headphones. As a result, people could dance and sing along to completely different songs!
While we weren’t working, we were free to enjoy the festival. We saw different kinds of artists across the weekend. I really enjoyed seeing Imagine Dragons, Vampire Weekend and, of course, Arctic Monkeys.
We camped for five nights and it was freezing every night! However, we had a really nice campsite. I had a great time and would certainly be returning the next year!

A. Because everyone could have a set of headphones.
B. Because music was played through the headphones.
C. Because people could listen to different songs silently.
D. Because people could sing and dance while they were listening to music silently.
34. Which of the following is NOT TRUE about Leeds Festival?
A. It’s held every year.
B. Many artists could be seen in August.
C. A silent disco is very popular with people.
D. The festivalgoers could enjoy different music in Leeds Festival.
35. We can possibly infer (推断) according to the text that ________.
A. people can enjoy delicious food silently in Leeds Festival
B. Leeds Festival usually lasts five days

A. Now, there is some science behind this idea.

Experts say the way you design your home could play a role in weight. (A) It may have an effect on your figure (身材). You can make your environment work for you instead of against you. Here are some ways to tum your home into part of diet plan.
Open the curtains (窗帘) and turn up the lights. Dark environments are more likely (可能的) to encourage overeating, for people are often less self-conscious (难为情) when they’re in poorly lit places. If your home doesn’t have enough window light, get more lights and decorate the place with brightness.
Mind the colors. Research suggests warm colors affect our appetites (食欲). In one study, people who have dinner in a blue room ate 33 percent less than those in a yellow or red room. Warm colors like yellow make food more delicious, while cold colors make us feel less hungry. So when it’s time to paint the walls of your house, go blue.
Don’t forget the clock or the radio. People who eat slowly tend to (倾向于) have about 70 fewer calories (卡路里) par meal those who rush through their meals. Begin keeping record of the time, and try to make dinner last at least 30 minutes. And while you’re at it, actually sit down to eat. (B) When you have problems slowing down the speed of eating, you may turn on relaxing music.
Choose the small dishes. Big dishes can easily make us fat. We will eat about 22 percent more when using a 12-inch plate instead of a 10-inch plate. When we choose a large dish over a smaller one, we will eat more calories.

Nice to hear from you! Indeed, with the development of modern science and technology, the computer has become a very useful tool to help people to write. People use computers much more than before. And at the same time, they neglect handwriting. So some people have forgotten how to write Chinese characters and often make mistakes in writing.
As we all know, Chinese handwriting has a long history. It is an important part of our excellent culture. Though the computer is widely used today. Chinese still need to grasp the skill of writing with hand. Not only is handwriting an art but it can stimulate our brain and prevent us from being distracted. Hoping you will love it forever!
Yours,
Li Hua
