It can help open up your imagination. 1.You can brainstorm alone or in a group ; either way can help increase the number of ideas you come up with. For instance, you can try free-writing. Write your problem at the top of a page. Once you do that, just begin writing. 2.Using this technique can help get your ideas flowing, as well as help you make connections you haven't thought of. When you've spent at least 10 or 15 minutes free-writing or when you feel like you've reached a stopping point, look back over your writing and highlight or circle anything that might be useful.3. You can start with your problem in the center within a circle. Use a line to branch off the main idea with another idea. Group like ideas together with lines. Start new branches for new ideas. This technique is also good for making connections, especially since you can represent it visually.Individual brainstorming is the most effective when you need to solve a simple problem, generate a list of ideas, or focus on a broad issue.4. In a group, be sure to brainstorm before you get together so you have some time to think. Make sure to avoid criticizing or rewarding ideas» as that can stop people from bringing up ideas and limiting creativity. The leader can throw out a topic or problem , and then the group can bounce ideas off of each other. Will the ideas be good or not too good? 5.The deeper analysis you have made, the higher it should be to fix the problem to your benefit.A.Analyzing is an important step.B.You can see different solutions.C.Taking notes is very necessary.D.Another way to brainstorm is to make a concept tree.E. Don't criticize, just write whatever comes to your mind.F. Group brainstorming is often more effective for solving complex problems.G. Ask yourself what really matters, then move your daily activities in that direction.(B)Once a circle missed a wedge (楔子). The circle wanted to be whole, so it went around looking for its missing piece. But because it was incomplete and therefore could roll only very slowly, it admired the flowers along the way. It chatted with worms. It enjoyed the sunshine. Finally it found a piece that fit perfectly. It was so happy. Now that it was a perfect circle, it could roll very fast, too fast to notice flowers or talk to the worms. When it realized how different the world seemed when it rolled so quickly, it stopped, left its found piece by the side of the road and rolled slowly away.In some strange sense we are more whole when we are missing something. The man who has everything is in some ways a poor man. He will never know what it feels like to yearn, to hope, to nourish(滋润) his soul with the dream of something better. He will never know the experience of having someone who loves him give him something he has always wanted or never had. There is wholeness about the person who has come to terms with his limitations, who has been brave enough to let go of his unrealistic dreams and does not feel like a failure for doing so. There is wholeness about the man or woman who has learned that he or she is strong enough to go through a tragedy(悲剧) and survive — he or she can lose someone and still feel like a complete person.Life is more like a baseball season, when even the best team loses one third of its games and even the worst team has its days of brilliance. Our goal is to win more games than we lose. When we accept that imperfection is part of being human, and when we can continue rolling through life and appreciate it, we will have achieved wholeness that others can only long for.1.Which may be an example of being whole?A.A person has everything.B.A person accepts his or her limitations.C.A person loves someone and is loved.D.A person feels blue for dropping unrealistic goals.2.How is a baseball season similar to life?A.Easy come, easy go.B.Failure is the mother of success.C.Energy and persistence conquer all things.D.Some battles you win and some battles you lose.3.How does the author clarify his idea?A.Mainly by comparing.B.Mainly by reasoning.C.Mainly by informing.D.Mainly by arguing.4.What can be the best title for the passage?A.Pursue perfection in lifeB.Be whole in lifeC.Life without mistakes is wholeD.No pains, no gains答案及解析A【答案】BEDFA【解析】这是一篇说明文。 可知,本段描述的是制作头脑风暴时,制作概念树的过程,D选项“另一种头脑风暴的方法是制作概念树”切题,选项中“make a concept tree”与下文中的“branch off the main idea with another idea”相呼应,故填D项。4. 故填A项。 There is wholeness about the person who has come to terms with his limitations, who has been brave enough to let go of his unrealistic dreams and does not feel like a failure for doing so.(人生的完整性在于一个人知道如何面对他的缺陷,如何勇敢地摒弃那些不现实的幻想而又不以此为缺憾)可知一个人接受他或她的缺陷,可能是“完整”的例子。故选B。2. Life is more like a baseball season, when even the best team loses one third of its games and even the worst team has its days of brilliance. Our goal is to win more games than we lose. 故选A。4.
