【教材分析】
本课选自新标准英语一年级起点第十册第六模块第一单元,讲述英国巨石阵。其语言功能是谈论将要进行的一次旅行,语言结构是What will we see there? We'll see lots of very big stones. How will we get there? By car. It will take three hours.
【教学目标】
a.语言知识目标:学习目标语句 What will we see there?
We'll see…
How will we get there?
By … It will take…
b.语言技能目标:在完成知识目标的基础上,通过对话和课堂活动的开展,培养学生的合作能力、竞争意识和综合运用语言知识的能力。
c.情感态度目标:通过活动,激发学生表达的欲望,调动学生参与的热情,实现目标语句的学习与拓展。在学习的过程中感受祖国大好河山的壮丽。
【教学重难点】
重点:学生能够运用目标语句描述和描写将要进行的一次旅行。
难点:对文中出现的特殊疑问词what, how, why的区别与运用。
【教学方法】
本课采用图片、视频等手段进行直观教学,同时运用任务型的教学方法,为学生创设与学习,生活贴近的语言情境;同时学生通过模仿录音、教师、导游等进行语言呈现,教师适时的给与鼓励。在学习中注重发挥学生的主动性与创造性,加强小组间、学生间的合作与交流,培养学生的交往能力。
【学生分析】
本单元的学习主要是运用将来时对事件的描述。学生在三年级的教材中已经学习过将来时的表达方法。因此本课主要是复习,巩固,提高和拓展的过程。教师要调动学生已有的知识储备,调动学生学习的积极性,为学生创设语言情境,以学生个体的实际情况和兴趣为出发点,为学生梳理知识,让学生系统掌握。
【设计理念】
五年级的教学内容主要是复习巩固以前学过的内容和继续扩展学习新的内容。这一学段学生对语言的综合运用能力需要进一步提高,为此,我们在课堂上应尽可能多地运用我们以前学习过的语言,坚持听说训练,同时进行相应的读写训练。语言离不开情境。因此本节课在利用教材中的情景之外,运用任务型教学,为学生创设与学习,生活贴近的语言情境,让学生在情境中展开思维和想象,充分的运用语言知识,培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力,真正达到在学中用。

1. Greeting.

2. Free talk: How old are you? How do you go to school? Where are you from? Where do you live? Do you like Jinshitan? Ok, good. Let's enjoy some pictures from Jinshitan.(设计意图:通过交流学生的身边事,拉近师生间的距离,放松学生的心情,使学生进入到思维状态,激发学习兴趣,为下步欣赏金石滩的奇石做准备。)

4. T. We'll see lots of stones. They are beautiful. And they are magic.

1.Lead out “Stonehenge”.
1).T: In England, there is a very old place. There are lots of big stones. People call it Stonehenge.
2). Ss read the word‘Stonehenge” after the teacher. Then read one by one.
3). Ss: It’s Stonehenge. (T shows the word and Ss read it together.)
4). Today we’ll talk about something about “Stonehenge”. First, let's enjoy the video about “Stonehenge”. (Watch the video about Stonehenge) (设计意图:利用多媒体课件创设真实情景,并采用师生互动,营造亲密和谐的学习气氛,分散难点,为新授做铺垫。)

本课是Module6 Unit 1 We'll see lots of stones.一课,本节课的总体设计,体现了新课程标准中的从学生的学习兴趣、生活体验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式等的教学理念。开课,我以Free talk引出孩子们的家乡金石滩,通过欣赏金石滩的风景图片,引出金石滩的Stones, 从而引出课题,导出本课的内容“Stonehenge”。从学生主体发展出发,从学生的生活实际入手,激发了学生积极主动地参与课堂学习活动,从而提高学生语言综合运用能力。
英语课文教学、对话教学只是呈现知识的一个载体,如果一味的机械的重复,那学生就失去了自己的思维能力。所以教师要全面分析理解教材,有效利用,科学驾驭。本课,新授对话之后 ,我以转述的形式让学生进行填空练习,学生不能是原封不动的进行生硬的照搬,增加了学生的思维的过程。同时,我还引导学生来扮演导游,根据图片向游客介绍巨石阵,从而使课文的教学得以升华,真正提升学生的英语能力。
