慧眼识别标志词（6年3考）
特定的时间状语往往标志着特定的时态，句中已经给出了明显的时间状语，考生只要牢记这些时间标志词所对应的时态，在答题时就会游刃有余。
细心体会辨语境（6年3考）
有些试题虽然看起来没有时间状语提示词，也不是复合句，但是上下句的动作存在着明显的时间顺序，因此可根据上下句已有的时态或句意来判断句子所要选用的时态。

主从复合句中谓语动词的时态一致主要有以下几种情况：(1)“主将从现”原则。如果主句是一般将来时， 从句是由 when, after, as sn as, if, unless, as lng as, in case引导的状语从句，从句应用一般现在时表将来。(2)“时态一致”原则。在主从复合句中，当主句的谓语动词为过去的时态，从句的谓语动词需用某种相应的过去时态(表示客观真理时用一般现在时)；主句时态为现在的时态，从句时态可根据具体情况而定。
