中考英语作文写作高分亮点句型二：倒装only

【知识梳理一】什么是倒装？

我们来看一个正常的句子:

A big tree is in front of my house.

这是一个主系表结构的句子。主语是：a big tree，表语是：in front of my house.

我们把主语和表语的位置换一下，变成了：

In front of my house is a big tree.

像这样将语句中的主语、谓语、宾语、状语等颠倒顺序的一种语法现象，叫做倒装，它常常具有很强烈的强调语气。

像上面这种叫做完全倒装，和今天我们要写的only的倒装句，还有一点点差别。

【知识梳理二】only倒装句的结构：

“Only +状语”+主句（部分倒装）。

我们来看几个例子，看一下部分倒装是什么样子的

例1：Only by shouting was he able to make himself heard. 

他只有叫喊才能让别人听到他。

例2：Only in this way can we enjoy a happy life.

只有这样我们才能有一个幸福的生活。

例3：Only through one’s efforts can one change reality for the better.

只有通过自己的努力我们才能使现实变得更美好。

例4：Only then did I realize my mistake. 

只有到那时我才意识到自己的错误。

结论：部分倒装有点类似于我们以前学过的陈述句变一般疑问句的变化，有be动词，be动词提到主语的前面，没有be动词，看有没有情态动词，有就提前，情态动词也没有，就要添加助动词do,does,did等等。

【巩固练习】句子改写。

1.In this way, we can keep ourselves strong and healthy.[2020 •山东省德州市]

修改后：Only in this way can we keep ourselves strong and healthy.

2.Happiness is achieved through hard work.

修改后：Only through hard work is happiness achieved.

3.Study hard and you can pass the exam.

先改成含有if引导的条件状语从句的主从复合句。

If you study hard, you can pass the exam.

改成倒装：Only if you study hard can you pass the exam.

总结：第一个例子是最常用的，我们经常在作文的结尾，提出建议。比如说Since COVID-19 broke out, we should wear a mask when going out.后面我们可以加一句：Only in this way can we win the battle against it.
