语法精讲：there be 句型、问路与指路句型
一.There be 句型
1.定义：There be 句型表示“某地或某时有某人或某物”。
2.结构：There is／are＋名词＋介词短语．
注意：这种结构中的 there 没有实际意义，There be句型中be动词单复数的选择遵循就近原则，即根据其后紧跟的主语的单复数情况而定。
There is a pen and two pencils in the pencil box.= There are two pencils and a pen in the pencil box.铅笔盒里有一支钢笔和两支铅笔。
3.There be 句型常用句式及转换：
（1）否定句：There be not＋…
There are some children in the room.→ There aren't any children in the room.
（2）一般疑问句：把be动词提前，肯定回答为Yes’ there is／are.否定回答为 No ’there isn’t／aren’t.
There is some milk in the cup.→ Is there any milk in the cup?
肯定回答：Yes，there is.
否定回答：No，there isn’t.
（3）特殊疑问句：
①对某物提问用what’s，常常省略 there。
There is a supermarket on Center Street.（对划线 部分提问）→What's on Center Street?
②对数量提问用how many／how much：how many＋可数名词复数，how much＋不可数名词。
A. There is a boy in the room.（对划线部分提问）→How many boys are there in the room?
B. There is some bread on the table.（对划线部分提问）→How much bread is there on the table?
4.have／has 与there be的区别：
（1）There be表示“某地或某时存在着某人或某物”；
（2）have／has 表示“某人或某团体拥有”………”。
I have some beautiful photos.我有一些美丽的照片。
There is some water in the cup.杯子里有一些水。
二.问路与指路
1.英语中常见的问路句型：
（1） Is there a hotel near here/ around here/ in the neighborhood？这附近有宾馆吗？
（2）Where is the hotel？宾馆在哪里？
（3）How can I get to the hotel？我如何去宾馆呢？
（4）Could you tell me the way to the hotel？你能告诉我去宾馆的路吗？
（5）Could you tell me how to get to the hotel？你能告 诉我如何去宾馆吗？
2.英语中常见的指路句型：
（1）It’s over there．在那边。
（2）It's behind/next to/across from/... 在·····后面／附近／对面。
（3）Walk／Go along Bridge Street．沿着大桥街走。
（4）Turn left/right at the first/second crossing. 在第一／二个十字路口向左／右转。
（5）You can find it on the／your left／right．你可以在你的左／右手边找到它。
