Tday an electric light is the mst cmmnly used device in ur daily lives. We need them t prvide light fr huses, buildings, and streets. We als have handheld lights that have a backup (后备) time f mre than 12 hurs. The technlgy that we use tday may be different frm the past, but what we have tday can be traced all the way back t the inventin f the electric light.
Effrts t create a wrking electric light g back t 1800 when an Italian scientist named Alessandr Vlta, during his experiments n the develpment f electric batteries, bserved that when a cpper (铜) wire cnnected the tw ends f the battery, it starts t glw due t the passage f electricity. The electric battery he invented then became the surce f many electric experiments.
Researches and develpments n the electric light were cntinued by many inventrs. It is said that the electric light was invented by 20 inventrs befre Thmas Edisn.
The main prblem in the develpments f the electric light was the filament (灯丝) inside it; it didn't last very lng and melted very quickly. In this regard, Thmas Edisn was very imprtant in the develpment f the electric light.
