Pre-task preparatins
1. 把全班同学分成两大组，出示一段描述节日的语段给第一组学生看（第二组的学生不能看），请第一组的学生用英文大声朗读，再请第二组的学生猜猜是什么节日。答对得一分。然后两队交换角色。得分最多的小组获胜。

2. 播放Sing a sng的歌曲，让学生跟唱。
While-task prcedures
1. 教师提问刚才播放的歌曲与哪个西方节日有关，巩固与圣诞节有关的知识。
T: At which festival d peple sing this sng?
Ss: Christmas!
2. 可用同样方式复习复活节和感恩节。根据学生的情况，教师可适当补充相关背景知识。
3. 请学生出示课后根据Make and say完成的作业南瓜灯，说说自己是怎么做的。
S1：I made my jack-’-lantern with an range. I cut ut a face first. Then I cut ut a circle and tk ut the inside. Next, I put a candle inside. This is my jack-’-lantern. It’s lvely!
4. 出示Learn the sunds 栏目的词组，慢慢朗读这些词组，让学生根据教师的朗读猜猜词组上方的线条表示什么，然后向学生解释英语中的连读现象，教师不必详细解释规则，只让学生了解这一现象即可，然后通过大声朗读掌握连读的发音规律。
5. 播放Learn the sunds 的录音，学生跟读，再把这些词组放入合适的句子中，让学生读句子。
Pst-task activities
1.让学生尝试朗读Listen and say 中的句子，教师检查学生是否能够正确连读。可用开火车的方式让学生逐句朗读。
2.让学生讲述或展示这四个节日的相关故事及资料，和同学分享。
