Grammar Fcus
Hw many是疑问词, 表示“多少”,后面需跟复数名词。询问多少人或物的句型是: Hw many +复数名词 + 一般疑问句。
2. Hw much 对不可数名词进行提问,表示 “多少”,后面跟不可数名词。
例:我们需要多少蜂蜜? Hw much hney d we need? 我们需要两勺蜂蜜。 We need tw spns f hney.
3. 英语中“量”的表达方法分为三种类型:
① 表示容器的名词 + f a cup f tea, three bttles f milk.
② 表示单位的名词 + f a piece f paper seven piles f rice (七堆米)
③ 其他词 + f sme f the apples
不可数名词没有单、复数形式;可数名词单数前面可用不定冠词a (an);不可数名词前不能有a (an);可数名词复数可用 a few, many 等修饰;不可数名词则用 a little, much 等修饰。
4. 可数名词有单数和复数两种形式, 如: bananas, tmates。

1.分辨可数名词和不可数名词
(1)可数名词有单数和复数两种形式,而不可数 名词只有单数形式。
pen →pens 钢笔(可数)
bread 面包(不可数)
(2)不定冠词、基数词可直接修饰可数名词, 表示数量;而不可数名词在表示数量时, 则用“不定冠词/基数词+表示计量单位的 名+f+不可数名词”。
an apple 一个苹果

fur cups f water 四杯水
(3)可数名词复数前可用many, sme, any, few, a few等修饰;不可数名词前可用much, sme, any, little, a little等修饰。

(4)提问可数名词的数量用hw many,提问 不可数名词的数量用hw much。
例:你有多少本书? Hw many bks d yu have?
我们需要多少盐?Hw much salt d we need?
2.可数名词的复数(分规则和不规则变化两种)
名词复数的构成,通常是在单数形式后面加s或es,其方法如下:
在清辅音后读/s/在浊辅音和元音后读/z/在/t/后读/ts/在/d/后读/dz/
以辅音字母加y结尾的词
以f (e) 结尾的词
变f (e) 为v,再加-es
以字母结尾的名词有的加-es,有的加-s。
ptat → ptates 土豆
tmat → tmates 西红杮
radi → radis 收音机
pht → phts 照片
改变单数名词中的元音字母。 如:man → men 男人 tth → teeth 牙齿
词尾有变化。 如:child → children 孩子 muse → mice 老鼠
单、复数形式相同。 如:sheep → sheep 绵羊 deer → deer 鹿
(3)当一个名词作定语修饰另一个名词时, 其复数形式只须将其主体词变为复数形式。 但man或wman修饰另一个名词,变复数时 要将名词及man或wman都变成复数。
