When we are talking t smene, we tend t change smene else’s mind t ur way f thinking. And we may ften find it difficult t d that, S here are five tips n hw t change smene’s mind.
The first ne is never t turn the cnversatin int an argument. It shuld be a cnversatin whereyu shw yur pinins and the facts that yu’ve cllected. By shwing them the facts, we want t tell ther peple that we are right. But emtinally, they may nt ttally agree with what yu say. S when yu are trying t change smene’s mind, try t keep it as a cnversatin and nt an argument.
The secnd tip is never t say that yu are wrng. If smene makes a statement that yu think iswrng, it’s better t pint it ut by saying, “I thught therwise but I might be wrng, let’s lk at the facts.” The key is t say that yu might be wrng, nt that yu are wrng. This pens up the ther persn t lk at the data again and shws them that yu’re nt bullheaded (顽 固 的) and that yu’re nt ging t change yur pinin. Yu’re shwing them that yu are pen t new ideas and this is super imprtant in changing smene else’s mind t yur way f thinking.
Tip number three is t get the ther persn saying yes as fast as pssible. Yu may begin yur cnversatin n hbbies that yu guys have, smething that they’re crazy abut, smething that gets them saying yes. Because the mre that yu get them t say yes nw, the mre likely they are t say yes in the future. A cnversatin like this will get them t start t like yu and maybe even mre pen up t ideas that yu have. It builds up trust between the tw f yu.
Tip number fur is t let the ther persn d a great amunt f talking. If yu let them talk mre, yu’re ging t shw that yu actually care abut their pinins and ideas, which will earn their respect in the end. By listening t them, yu’re ging t create a friendly relatinship and build trust. S when yu express yur pinins, they will als shw a willingness t listen. Never interrupt them when they are talking. Just listen patienly with an pen mind, encurage them t talk even mre and mre s that when it’s yur tum t talk, they’ll listen and say nthing.
The last tip is t let the ther persn feel like the idea was theirs. It’s wiser t make suggestins and let smene else cme t the cnclusin, then they have a sense f pride that it’s their idea. Giving smene the data and letting them cme t the cnclusin let them feel like it is their idea and they are prud f it.
